Delta Metals Iowa was founded in 2013 in Leon, Iowa when Marvin Peachey noticed a need and an opportunity to start a metal rollforming business in the area. With plenty of experience in the metal roll forming industry from his ownership of the original Delta Metals in Delta, Colorado. Delta Metals Iowa quickly established itself in the market with quality products, solid customer service, and fast turnaround times for its customers.
Marv’s strong personal belief in one’s continual growth combined with calculated risk has helped to spur a consistent and sustainable expansion of the quality products and services our customers have come to expect for over a decade.
The first years were spent on the road stopping at every job site that was driven past, meeting with potential customers, word of mouth advertising, and keeping up with the growing demand being generated by these efforts.
In the fall of 2020 a sales office was opened in Knoxville, Iowa as an opportunity to better serve a growing customer base that was expanding beyond the geographical confines of southern Iowa.
With the rapid growth in business in 2020, we outgrew the original facility in Leon, Iowa. In October of 2021 plans were begun to expand by either renting or building a much larger space in the Decatur County area. Land was purchased and construction began in the spring of 2022 on the brand new 56,000 sq. ft. facility in Lamoni, Iowa. By October of 2022 Delta Metals was officially moved into its new location.
May of 2023 saw Delta Metals acquire another metal rollformer, Richmond Metals, located in Richmond, Missouri. This expansion allowed Delta Metals to not only increase the products available to their customers but also the ability to expand our reach in meeting our customers needs.
